While mowing the lawn today I noticed what looked like orange carrots growing up in several locations at the edge of a mulched bed. After they were cut off the looked like a hollow tuberous growth. Do you know what these are and how I can get rid of this growth?
Thanks
They most likely are stinkhorn mushrooms There is no way to permanently get rid of them. It is very common for a variety of mushrooms to grow in mulch. They are involved in the decomposition of the wood the mulch is comprised of. Knock them over and dispose of them when you see them.
